Privacy Policy
www.developtogether.co.uk (the "Site") is owned and operated by Develop Together. Develop Together is the data controller and can be contacted at:
Purpose
The purpose of this privacy policy (this "Privacy Policy") is to inform users of our Site of the following: the personal data we will collect; use of collected data; who has access to the data collected; the rights of Site users; and the Site's cookie policy. This Privacy Policy applies in addition to the terms and conditions of our Site.
GDPR
For users in the European Union, we adhere to the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR"). For users in the United Kingdom, we adhere to the GDPR as enshrined in the Data Protection Act 2018. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer as we do not fall within the categories of controllers and processors required to appoint one under Article 37 of the GDPR.
Consent
By using our Site, users agree that they consent to the conditions set out in this Privacy Policy. Where the legal basis for processing your data is your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us — this will not make processing completed before withdrawal unlawful.
Legal Basis for Processing
We collect and process personal data about users in the EU only when we have a legal basis for doing so under Article 6 of the GDPR: where users have provided consent for a specific purpose, or where processing is necessary to take steps requested by a user before entering a contract, or to perform a contract (for example, delivering a purchased Teaching Resources licence).
Personal Data We Collect
We only collect data that helps us achieve the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
Collected automatically: IP address, approximate location, hardware/software details, links clicked, and content viewed.
Collected non-automatically: name, email address, phone number, address, and payment information — for example when you download the Handy Habits for Motivation PDF, book a coaching call, or purchase a Teaching Resources licence.
How We Use Personal Data
Automatically collected data is used for site statistics. Data you provide directly is used for communication — including sending the resources you've requested, following up on coaching enquiries, and delivering purchased licences.
Who We Share Personal Data With
We may disclose user data to any member of our organisation who reasonably needs access to it. We will not sell or share your data with other third parties, except:
- Where the law requires it, or it's required for legal proceedings, or to protect our legal rights
- Stripe — processes payment for Teaching Resources licences (we do not see or store your card details)
- MailerLite — manages email delivery for the Coaching lead-magnet PDF and any related email updates you sign up for
- To buyers or potential buyers of this company, in the event of a sale
If you follow hyperlinks from our Site to another site (including otd.developtogether.co.uk or safement.co.uk), please note we are not responsible for their own privacy policies and practices.
How Long We Store Personal Data
User data is stored for six years. You will be notified if data is kept for longer than this.
How We Protect Your Personal Data
We take reasonable precautions to keep user data secure, though no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
Your Rights as a User
Under the GDPR you have the right to be informed, the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we learn we have done so, that data will be deleted as soon as possible; a parent or guardian may contact us at any time.
How to Access, Modify, Delete, or Challenge Your Data
To find out what data we hold, request changes or deletion, or exercise any other right under the GDPR, contact us at [email protected].
Do Not Track
We do not track users over time and across third-party websites, so we do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email from us.
Cookie Policy
We may use functional, analytical, and third-party cookies to remember your preferences and improve the Site. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time, though this may affect your experience.
Modifications
This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time to maintain legal compliance or reflect changes to our data practices. We recommend checking this page periodically.
Complaints
If you have any complaints about how we process your data, please contact us so we can resolve the issue. You also have the right to lodge a complaint directly with the Information Commissioner's Office.
